*When making your donation, you will first determine the amount, then enter your email address/phone #. Once those have been entered, you will see the More field will offer a "note/additional info” section. Please write the following: "Lab School" and (optional) "your First and Last Name." We need to have "Lab School" to be able to keep track of how much money we raise!
HOW WAS THIS ORGANIZATION CHOSEN?
During winter quarter U-High participated in "The Penny Challenge," a coin vote that spanned one week to decide what organization the net proceeds of this event would go towards. Out of three organizations, I Grow Chicago raised the most money over this week and was therefore chosen as the organization for Labapalooza.

The mission of I Grow Chicago is to grow Englewood from surviving to thriving through community connection, skill building, and opportunity.

Comprehensive job and life skills program

Goal: end the root causes of trauma and violence by removing barriers
The goal of all of all 15 programs is to heal the hood!
